When using VOTE411.org here are steps to remember:

  • On the left side of the screen, enter your address in the box. Click ENTER
  • Under On Your Ballot, click on the green button "Get personalized information on candidates and issues"
  • A map appears which shows the address you entered. Click SHOW DISTRICTS button
  • Click CONFIRM DISTRICTS button at the bottom of the screen.
  • If prompted, Select English and click CONTINUE (Although Spanish is listed, English is the only option available in Michigan at this time)
  • If prompted, select a party from the drop-down box OR select SHOW ALL from the drop down box to compare all candidates.
  • If there are multiple races in this election cycle, you will be able to navigate between races in the top section of the screen. Once you are satisfied with your candidate selection(s) for a race, you can put a checkmark in the box corresponding to their name.
  • You will be guided through each race applicable to your address.
  • Once all races have been reviewed, you can select "ALL DONE" or "FINISH" at the top. You will be given the option of emailing or texting your selections so that you can take them with you to the polls on election day.
